Bose QC2's too pricey for you? Onsale.com (http://www.onsale.com/onsale/search/search.asp?search=sennheiser+pxc-250&CurDSN=simple&calledfrom=1&incimage=on&submit1.x=13&submit1.y=7) has refurb Sennheiser PXC-250s on sale for $68! I have used these (refurbs even!) and find them to be quite good.

Yes, I find they work quite well, and the small size makes them much, much easier to travel with than the Bose. Recently I was on a flight with both and did a comparison, and yes, the Bose are better, but not $230 better!
I think the regular price is abut $130-140, so at $68 these are quite a buy.

Costco.com is selling them new for $109.99 + $6.41 s/h. They point out they're not an authorized retailer but they guarantee your satisfaction.
