All UA metal bwi-den-sfo-sea-sfo-ord-bwi 6283 base miles, $233 all included, $0.037/mi iloveipods Jan 14, 05, 3:27 pm In the last couple of months the UA fare has been around $183 plus taxes for that route, so a little high compared to that. The general concensus is a reasonable cost is $.02/mile so you'd be losing on this one. After all, we prefer being paid to fly! :D fredmartens Jan 14, 05, 6:29 pm Boy, I hate to disagree with ipods, but IMHO this is pretty good at under .04 per EQM, a total of 13,566 miles (under .02 per total mile w/ 1P/1K status) & booking bonus (if this routing is bookable for you on UA's site). I grabbed a couple of SEA-BWI r/t's booked in May on UA, they came in around $228 all in....all mainline stuff, no "Teds" either. Is $.02/mile fiigure the base mile? I'm sure this is not the lowest ever. This is my first MR post anyway. No props on this fare. All UA jets. UA is running a promo in DC where you can earn credits toward future flights (details here (http://www.united.com/page/article/0,6722,50823,00.html?jumpLink=%2Fgoaroundtheworld) ).
