I need 88 miles to top off my account to redeem an award ticket. Does anyone know of anyway to do this. Membership Rewards seems like my only option to get it done quickly, but I'd have to transfer a full 1000 miles.

Is it possible that a phone rep would waive the additional 88 miles for the award ticket?

Thanks!

Don't count on US helping. The only way is to buy the needed 88 miles from US or redeem Membership Rewards and both have minimums on the miles you can purchase or transfer. Another option would be a hotel stay or sign up for the DM Visa Card.

just 88? 1000 can be purchased for $35.

You can also join idine, buy flowers, switch to sprint...lots of ways for a small amount.

Back in the 90's, they would let me cary a negative balance for a short amount. don't know about now.

Easy - a 7 dollar lunch at an Idine establishment. You will have the miles in your account in no time.

Nice! Thanks! Unfortunately I don't have any Idine establishments near me but this is a great tip for the future.

I also saw that Starwood Platinum can transfer miles with no minimum. Too bad I'm only SPG Gold.

How long do Idine miles take to post?

Idines usually post in about a week or two.
