US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - Miles for Dec posted in Jan's statement - will US automatically count them toward 04?

Has anyone had experience with this in past years? Was it automatic, or did you have to make a call afterwards. I guess we'll get some type of email thanking us for reaching some level with our Preferred Miles listed, and I could check then. But I was wondering if I should call someone before the "final" numbers are in print somewhere. Thanks!

I've had it happen before and they keep the right miles in the right buckets, at least they did for me and MrsSP. It took 4 months, over a year end, to get credit when she took the UA Shanghai-SFO redeye the day the UA arrangement started, but it didn't accrue to the next year.

if you're really worried about it, why don't you call them up. The CSR's can upgrade you at their discretion, you just need to give them a reason.

OK, What I was afraid of happening, happened. They didn't include my Dec miles (posted in Jan) in the email that they sent listing my "2004 Preferrred Miles". I'm hoping for complimentary Club membership, so I hope they look at some other total when (and if) they send out Club welcome kits this year.

Then call them and tell them what happend. Miles or trips that you did in 04 are suppose to be in 04. A quick phone call to the DMSC will take care of that.
