Just got back from Vegas.

Ate at Bradley Odgen in Caesar's Palace. Hands down one of the best meals I have ever eaten. Service was excellent. Our waitress was unobtrusive yet always available. She was also very knowledgeable about everything on the menu. Food was awesome. Most of it was organic. Perfect portions.

It wasn't cheap though. 4 of us split a bottle of wine and a cheap(er) bottle of champagne and it was $500 with tax and tip. Not ridiculous, but not cheap either.

Highly recommended.

Good to hear this. Reviews have certainly been good. We have reservations next week.

Any "don't miss" suggestions?

And their wine list actually has some bargains on it compared to most high-end Vegas joints. Try the 2001 Stags leap Artemis Cabernet Sauvignon for a nice inexpensive bottle.

The oyster appetizer with five different preparations is wonderful, as is the blue-cheese souffle. For the main course I like the bison.

The blue cheese souffle is not to be missed, in my opinion. The bison is also quite good.

If you like salads, Bradley's Caesar is incredible. True, it's $14, but you can have them half it and it's $10. Beautiful presentation, and incredible taste.

For my entree, I had the rabbit. It was cheaper than the other entrees, but I got it not just b/c of that, but b/c it's hard to find rabbit on any menu where I live. It was tasty, but the bison my friend got was better.

The dessert with bananas was good. You get 5 or 6 different things to try out, all for $16.

Thanks for the advice. I'll post after our trip.
Also eating at Mesa Grill and Joe's Stone Crab. I know it is somewhat Caesar's-centric, but they're the ones bringing in the new restaurants!

One other thing - remember me asking a while back about if I could get a menu for Ogden? Well, they put a sample one online:

http://www.caesars.com/Caesars/LasVegas/Dining/FineDining/BradleyOgden.htm

The only things I saw on my menu that are also on the website's menu were the Bleu Cheese Souffles and the Caesar Salad. Everything else was different.

Check out Il Mulino - incredible Italian - and you can get resvs here unlike the NYC branch!

I'd give Mesa Grill a miss - we weren't that impressed...

I agree about Bradley Ogden - outstanding food, but with prices to match.

It was one of 5 restaurants nominated for Best New Restaurant at this year's James Beard Awards (the Oscars of food). The other 4 were all in NYC. Bradley Ogden won.

I also really like Nob Hill at MGM but haven't been there in a while.
