In the interest of full disclosure:
The guy who said this was Dan Kasper.
Dan Kasper has been employed by US in the past as a consultant: http://www.charlotte.com/mld/charlotte/10547095.htm
In fact, Dan Kasper was a paid witness for US in it's efforts in Bankruptcy Court (see http://www.donlinrecano.net/mp.dr3?p1=docket&p2=mwc&p3=vde&p4=367&p5=0&p6=04-13819 or docket #367 in the case management system).
I guess the moral of the story here is not every analyst is fair and balanced, per se.
