Hello,

I'll fly with AA on a 763. I saw their powerports things. I read that it was the same as a cigarette lighter in a car. A friend of mine is proposing me to lend his adaptater but he cannot remember on which company he flew with when he used it.

So here is a picture of it : http://www.ebtb.info/powerplug.jpg

The adaptater is round and inside there is 2 tips. I'm pessimist about it but let's hope for a few minutes ! :)

Thanks in advance for your opinion ! :)

That's an emPower plug, the other one of the two kinds you find on airlines.

Most "universal" power adapters have this kind of plug on the end of their cord and a short additional adapter that the emPower plug fits into, and that in turn fits into the cigarette lighter style AA uses. You might be able to get the emPower-to-cigarette-lighter adapter separately.

Thanks a lot for your reply. In fact, I try to google that but obviously nobody did an emPower to cigarette lighter adapter (but the opposite exists)... That's really too bad for me !

Will it work with a power inverter (220V [Europe/France] to cigarette lighter plug) ?

Empower is 12V DC, 75 watts.
