I did a search and couldn't find any information so I'm asking here. I had a LH F award ticket but need to change dates and as of now its not available but TG F is available. If anyone has any experience with this route on TG in F comments would be appreciated. Thanks!!

The flights ex FRA are all operated with the flat seats. Try to get seats on the
A&B side. On the H&K seats you have the traffic to the lavs plus the galley noise. 2A is always my choice. Row 1 is to close to a big old fashioned screen for my taste. They still have a general feeding time. The food is great but presentation and quality not as good as on LH ( my point of view ). The only route where they have top notch food service is on BKK LHR v.v..
Nevertheless it is always a great experience to fly Thai ex FRA.

The station manager is always very cooperative to get you your favourite food.
I asked the day of departure for a Gazpacho. They said they would not be a flying restaurant but then I always got what I asked for. I however pay my trips on TG so I do not know how they will handle special requests with an O Tix.

You can also order from the Supper Royal Menu

I cannot comment on Thai but I have flown in LH F on this sector and it was unbelievable . 3 servings of Cavair , great champagne , service just great .
I can remember about half way thru the flight and between meals , my seatpartner and I wanted a snack and the staff made up a great platter of cheese, fruit and nuts and red wine.
The top deck is also a great site for F on LH - you are in your own private world.

I have flown FRA-BKK, or BKK-FRA in F on both LH (2 times) and TG (2 times) recently. I found the TG service to be equal or superior to LH in all aspects; food & beverage, entertainment, seat comfort, on-board/ground service. The schedule for FRA-BKK is better on TG, I think, as you arrive BKK ~ 06:00 vs. 14:00. LH F will nearly always be full, although the recent tsunami might be affecting loads, whereas the TG flight may be less full in F resulting in an empty adjacent seat and even more attentive service. I actually changed to TG from LH in FRA in order to avoid a long layover, and to get to BKK earlier. I could not confirm this change until I arrived in FRA (from BOS on LH).

My 2 cents: I prefer to be on TG F than on LH F on any given moment.

Pom rak Thai Airways krup. Stepping aboard a Thai flight is like starting the Thai experience early...it is hard to beat. To me the difference in seating is minimal--on the 744 you still have to sit next to somebody with both TG and LH. Yes, LH may have a more elaborate starter selection, however, I find the rest of the meal comparable--plus the Thai service style is simply awesome.

On this sector in F I would take TG anytime.
Great food, service, good seats.
