Flying Dragon Air (CP?) in F from HKG to PVG next week. What to expect? Also, what programs can I accumulate miles on for that flight?

First class here: http://www.dragonair.com/icms/servlet/template?series=161&article=1463&lang=eng

Miles can go into AsiaMiles or JAL Member Bank, with, if you wish, the KA "Elite" loyalty club wrapper around it (in the same way that Marco Polo goes round AsiaMiles or BA Miles for CX). See here: http://www.dragonair.com/icms/servlet/template?series=81&article=354&lang=eng

[Wouldn't it have been quicker for you just to go to the Dragonair website directly?]

Depending on whether you'll get new F seat or not.

Dragonair's (KA) new F seat = CX's new business class seat
KA's old F seat = CX's old business class seat

Check in should be smooth and usually don't need to wait.

There is no F class lounge.

In-flight service is excellent, although if you're on old seat, there will be not video entertainment at all.

You can park your miles into Asia Miles, you'll get 1.5x for flying F.

Dragonair's (KA) new F seat = CX's new business class seat
KA's old F seat = CX's old business class seatIn both cases this is the long-haul CX seat, not the regional one.

For some reason, I think KA's F class seats bear a striking resemblance to SQ's J seat, just look at the shape................
