I've booked 2 seats from LHR to DPS via HKG in J. I haven't flown CX for a very long time and never in the new sleeper seats. I'd be grateful for any advice regarding:

1. Which are the best seats (I assume upper deck is preferable to lower)?
2. How do the CX seats compare to the BA flat beds?
3. I'm gold on BA (OW emerald) will that give me an extra benefits (better chance of upgrade to F)?
4. Can I check in online or do I need to register/join the CX FF scheme?

Any other info which may be useful.

Thanks

Yes, marklondon101, everything you want to know have been discussed many many times. It really is better if you can do a search and find all your answers on this forum.

But since you're new around here, I'll give you a little push:

1. Which are the best seats (I assume upper deck is preferable to lower)?
Dunno. Depends on your aircraft type and where you'd like to be.

2. How do the CX seats compare to the BA flat beds?
They're not flat flat. But more comfortable if you have a wide er girth.

3. I'm gold on BA (OW emerald) will that give me an extra benefits (better chance of upgrade to F)?
Hmmm. Does BA ever upgrade you to F? CX does sometimes but they will usually upg their own MPC members first and on the London route, revenue F is usually quite full anyway.

4. Can I check in online or do I need to register/join the CX FF scheme?
No you can't check in on line if you don't have an Asiamiles number.
