Hilton HHonors - 50 percent point bonus promo renewed?

I just saw something about the 50 percent points bonus-instead-of-miles promotion that Hilton started last year. Does anyone know if this means it will continue for 2005?

Hilton's name for this is "double dip your way." It's now permanent. There's a link from the HHonors main page this this page:

...where you can log in and set your preference. Your default choice was switched to one airline mile per dollar spent on July 1 unless you have changed it to something else..

I'm a bit confused about the option to trade in-hotel benefit for points, what benefit would they take away if I choose the points? Breakfast coupon? Upgrades?
