Hello!

I think this is my first posting on the CX board, but a question if I may...

If I fly CX in C from HKG-BKK, connecting onto another international flight at BKK, will CX let me use their lounge?

I've done a search and it looks as if the answer will be 'no' but I can't find a true consensus on the matter.

Many thanks

Tony

I highly doubt CX BKK staff will let you in unless you are flying a oneworld carrier in premium cabin or have oneworld elite status with a oneworld boarding pass for departure ex-BKK.

I agree with chiangi.

Oneworld rules state that you are allowed oneworld lounge access if your onward flight is on a oneworld airline. Besides, you really wouldn't want to go into CX's lounges if you have the chance. BA/QF's lounges are much nicer.

If you're arriving from HKG and attempting to use CX's lounge just because... sorry.

Thanks - that all makes sense, it's just i'm looking at at connection onto PG and their "lounges" aren't all that great (although a good service offered...)

Besides, you really wouldn't want to go into CX's lounges if you have the chance. BA/QF's lounges are much nicer. The CX F lounge is nicer than the QF lounge F side (BA sub-contracts the QF lounge). The CX F lounge is somewhat hidden, most people don't find it (across the building from the main lounge). The main CX lounge at BKK is not as nice as the QF lounge. The CX staff at BKK are particularly helpful, this may include stretching the rules to allow you into the lounge if you have the right profile.
