Hilton HHonors - $99 - Vegas 3 days/2 nights or Orlando 4 days/3 nights

Just recieved a phone call from a sales rep from Hilton.

The offer:

Las Vegas:
3 days / 2 nights at the Hilton Gold Crown
1 Bedroom Villa
2 hour tour Required

Orlando:
4 days/ 3 nights at any one of five Hilton Properties
2 Bedroom Suite
2 hour tour Required

Good from now till 6 mos to book my reservation. She stated that they sent me a promotional package in the mail, however I never received this.

The offer initially was $149.00 for either deal, I said I cannot do it right now, then she went and got her supervisor and then they offered me the deal for $99.00....

Is this a legitimate offer????

Did anyone else receive this offer???

At some stage of the game as HH members, many of us have.
Why? Because what you got and will find out when get the "package" that this an offer for to you participate in one of the spiels to try and convince you to buy one of the Hilton Vacation properties = time share.

legitimate yea. where to go, depends on who is going. if its a family with young kids orlando might be nicer. Thou you better bring an armoured car to carry the $$ you'll need for those parks.
As for LV if just a couple or you have older teenagers that could work. i dont see LV as a family vacation place. But thats me.

I've never done these, but I've heard the two hour tour can be much longer. Be prepared for the hard sell.

we did the tour in nyc at the hilton. it was supposed to be 90 minutes but turned into two hours. there was some pressure, but when we put our foot down, they let us go.

we also did one with marriott--there was no pressure. it almost seemed like the sales guy was interested in selling us something (we almost bought one just to spite him.). he was very pleasant and we had a nice chat.

if you want to go to either of those places, this is a great deal, even with the two hours of your life that hilton will steal.

My wife and I sat through the spiel at the HWV a couple months ago. It was 1-2 hours for 20k points. We did find it relatively interesting but there was no huge pressure on us to do anything.
