Ive seen this discussed briefly in other threads but wanted to focus primarily on the 10,000 point Hilton properties and which ones are the best.
Just from appearances and descriptions, the best IMO seem to be the following:
1.) Hilton Kuala Lumpur- 42 inch plasma TV's and a perfect location
2.) Hilton Phuket Arcadia Resort- made it through the tsunami virtually unscathed. Still a wonderful property for 10,000 points.
3.) Any Scandic hotels- with the weak dollar in Europe its nice to find hotels at 10,000 points in city center areas.
So, what does everybody else think? Obviously mine is a very abbreviated list. Please feel free to share any experineces with 10,000 point properties...better? worse? indifferent?

Brussels City Hilton and the Vienna Danube Hilton were both decent considering they are only 10,000 points.

Is the Brussels City Hilton closer to the Grand Palace or the European Union Headquarters? I have heard that it is a very good 10,000 point property as well.
And for anyone who has stayed at the Vienna Danube Hilton...whats the ebst transportation between the hotel and the city center ( I believe the hotel is away from the city center a bit)?.

They have a shuttle that seats 8 people and you need to get a free ticket for it which you can only get 1 hour before. Since the tickets go quickly, you need to get them 1 hour before (ie pick up 10 am for 11 am shuttle.) There are also taxis which cost 10-13 Euro to the center of Vienna.
Hilton Brussels City is no longer a cat 1 hotel, its now a cat 2 hotel.

The Hilton Narita. 10,000 points for a room in Japan is a good deal. Also great complimentary full breakfast buffet as a Gold.
My wife and I recently stayed at the Hilton Nuremberg, Germany. The hotel is a short bus ride from downtown. The room was nice and the complimentary breakfast buffet (Gold Member) was excellent.

Copenhagen Scandic!
Beautiful hotel with free full breakfast (for Golds/Diamonds). Upgraded to a spacious "Ikea looking" suite.

I have been to Narita, Vienna Danube, and the Arcadia, and all three were very good values.
Colombo is also a great property although I understand that it is quite full at the moment so award night might not be available for awhile.
