Hi everyone, with an aging fleet of 747's I was wondering if anyone knows if there a set series of routes KL uses them on? Or does it vary? I know they use them alternating with the 777 on the jfk-ams route.

thanks

As far as I know, always a B747 AMS to BKK - TPE, to SIN - CGK, to KUL - CGK, to JHB, to LAX, to YYZ, to HKG, to PEK, to IAH, to ICN, to GRU and I am sure I forget a few here.

KL now has only 747-400s after retiring the -200 and -300s. They are not that old.

I've seen 747's recently on ORD, DEL, HKG, and ALA (Almaty).

I thought DEL was serviced by a MD11?

I thought DEL was serviced by a MD11?

It was MD11 through today.

But the timetable I have shows DEL-AMS as 744 starting today (Jan 3).

So is that going to stay a 744 from now on? I heard that they were bringing in the new 777's on this route. I got to admit though, i liked the MD11's. There is nothing like row 1 in WBC.
