Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - Lounge Guest Policy Question

I'm Sapphire (AA Platinum) and will be going from HKG-NRT-SJC on 1/1. I suspect that I will have the right to use the Pier or the Wing lounge in HKG.

However, I'll be with my dad who has no status on any airline. He's going HKG-JFk.

What is the guest policy that these lounges? Can my dad be admitted as well?

Are you both flying CX? If so, I don't think you'll have a problem.

I was QF Gold - OW Sapphire when flying CX, and I entered with a guest. The only question I got was whether my friend was flying CX as well - which he was, and on a different flight to me.

Strictly, if you leave the lounge then your father has to leave as well, although this isn't policed particularly hard in my experience.

as long as he is on any ow flight that day from hkg he is ok
