Diners Club Club Rewards - Newark lounge inaccessible

I had a 4 hour delay in Newark today.

I remember not that long ago, not even a year I think, you were able to get a gate pass from NW to use the WorldClub.

That cannot be done anymore.

You have to fly out out of that concourse to use the lounge, which means unless you are flying NW, forget it.

It does not work at EWR. You could call the lounge and ask but I wasn't in the mood to complain. I was flying out of the international terminal and had time to kill, the best shops is it the CO terminal.

but seriously, do you really expect a TSA agent to fall for "its a Diners Card, I am only going to use the NW lounge" and let you through????


Actually I was even told by NW staff, that even if you are a WorldClub memeber and are not flying out of those gates, you still cant access the WorldClub, so its not just Diners.

:confused: I rarely travel through EWR... If you're flying CO, CSA, NW or any other SkyTeam Alliance carrier, can you then access the lounge w/your Diner's Club card?

no I was on CO.
was told unless you are flying from the NW concourse at B terminal, you cannot pass through secuirty into that concourse period.
