They say weather but it seems all other airlines ok? Is Us Airways telling the truth ?
It was actually snowing and sleeting here all day. Nothing compared to what I'm now used to living in NYC, but quite rare for here. It was enough to close down parts of I-10 and Airline Hwy today.
Now, that doesn't mean they are telling the complete truth, but I'd buy it.

Unofficial "Sick-out!" The employees are going to kill US Air if it doesn't die first. I hope they make it. See other threads.

The good news is the flight was on time. The bad news is that the bags took as long as the flight time to arrive at baggage claim.
Hundreds of upset travelers still this weekend at DCA.
I thought that they would have their act together this weekend after the fiasco last weekend.
My other thought is that the "snack" in First was pitiful compared to the in flight cafe offering in coach.

United looks like Signapore Airlines after this trip.

Cashed in 100K miles for a couple F seats. Figured New Years in MSY would be a suitable place to spend down the DM account as I've earned so many of those miles flying to MSY for business over the years.
The planes weren't any cleaner, the food any better, or the employees any different. There were a few hints of the attitude: the PVD ticket agent who printed an almost illegible boarding pass "We didn't bother to order new ribbons for the printers."; a irritated flight attendant "I don't know why I bother [telling people where to put their bags] at this point"; and an eerie, depressing vibe at the MSY gate area, which seemed a little dingier than normal.
Found my "priority gold plus" statement from the early nineties, and one of those "double-play" points promotion ads. I remember being so exciting watching my "odometer" hit 50,000 miles.
