Asia - indian food in BKK

I have been to Rang Mahal, and the others on Sukhumvit rd, yet I find the taste of these restaurants not quite up to par with the food in England. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Heard there are a few in Yaworat alleys in China town, also heard that the sights of these back alleys are pretty interesting, anyone ever been?

I've never been to the ones in Yowarat, but I hear they're better than the ones on Sukhumvit Rd. I have a couple of Indian friends who've been living here for a few years and they recommend Indian Hut and Indian Chef in that area, but I've never eaten there.

Personally, I like Rang Mahal and Bawarchi in the Suan Lum Night Bazaar.

Try Hazara, Sukhumvit Soi 38, part of the Face complex
