KLM Flying Dutchman - Best Kenya Airways 737-300 seats are?

G'day,

I have economy seats on a 737-300 coming up. Can someone tell me what are the best seats. Specifically, is there a empty seat space in the emergency exit aisle? I know there is on the 737-700 but I am not sure about the 737-300.

Can't give you a definite answer, but on the -700 the seats you want are 10A and F. Seeing that both the -300 and -700 seat 16 pax in C and 100 in Y, I should like to surmise that their cabin layouts are if not identical, then at least very similar.

I have not been able to find KQ seat maps anywhere, and all my e-mails to the airline have gone unacknowledged and unanswered.

I was in BUJ last week doing some more work for State (OBO) and I was on a 737-300 (5Y-KQB) and the exit row did only have 2 seats with the open space next to the exit door. I'm guessing the row behind, A Seat, would be really nice. Flew on KQ's 777 and 767 ... the lay-flat seats on those A/C are really nice! BTW... where's my shirt! :p

I'm familiar with the 767, but what is the 777 Premier World cabin like? Seat configuration, the seats, amenities, IFE, etc. Info would be appreciated.

How's things? I sent the Khartoum Hilton shirt November 15th from Cape Town, South Africa (Surface Mail). I would expect it to arrive sometime soon - maybe :rolleyes: How was Burundi? Is it worth a visit or was it all work for you?

I am currently in Toronto right now freezing my behind off. I do not understand what Canadians see in cold weather. It is inhumane.

To get back to the 737-300 economy seating story. I can now confirm that yes, the seating for emergency exit row is the same numbering as the 737-700 series aircraft. 10A and 10F are the best seats on the plane (in my opinion, better than Biz Class if you are over 6ft2").
