Dear Air Canada Santa:
This is little airbus320 writing to you for Christmas.
I first want to thank the nice people who help me fly to my destinations.
They are really nice people and I hope that you will say thank you to them for me. I have noticed that they are working very hard to make my travel safe and agreeable. Things are getting better and I am happy. !
This year for Christmas, I would like the following toys:
First, I would like to know what my 2005 benefits look like. Could you please let me know before Christmas? This would be greatly appreciated and I know that my many FT friends would also appreciate this gift.
Second, I just noticed that British Airways has appointed a senior staff member to dialogue with its frequent flyers. This is a good idea because people who frequent that forum are pretty smart. Mr Rupert Duchesne once said that some of the people who frequent the Air Canada forum were leading edge thinkers. Maybe you could appoint someone to do the same for us...There are some very intelligent people who post here. You could get some free advice. My uncle is a consultant and I know that he charges lots of dollars for giving advice. It would be free here. I think my uncle calls it a focus group.
Third. This is the most important one. I have been flying Air Canada for 40 years this Christmas. I took my first flight from North Bay to Toronto to visit my aunt and uncle at Christmas. My third Christmas wish is to know clearly that my patronage is appreciated. I don't expect a whole bunch of stuff but it would be nice if you had something that would tell me that I am important to you. My consultant uncle calls it loyalty.
I know that you are busy reading the Christmas lists of all the frequent flyers. I hope that you read mine too.
Have a nice Christmas. :)
