I came across with the following tour offered by Robert's Hawaii
Star and Stripes
http://www.robertshawaii.com/activities/activity_details.cfm?eventID=30

Do you think it is worthwhile? Or any suggestion for a creative tour of Pearl harbor?

Thanks,
carfield

For $55, I'd just take a car and take those stops on your own. Then again, I've never really been a big fan of tours, but taking your own rental does allow you to skip the locations that won't interest you, e.g., the Hawai'i state capital, IMHO, and will save you a few $$s.

If you're on your own, $55, which includes the $14 admission to the USS Missouri, wouldn't be bad for the 9 hour tour. However, if you have a few more people, you can just book a car and driver to take you around for less money.

Although I usually agree with Slippahs on his suggestions :), I have to disagree about his disinterest in the State Capitol. Many years ago I was given a tour of the Capitol and found it very interesting especially the architecture.

Of course, you can always try to talk my husband into giving you his "local" tour. He always has my relatives and friends from the mainland clamouring for more when he does the tour for them.:D

I guess it's all about the things you take for granted. I actually live a handful of blocks away from the capitol... Maybe one of these days, I'll take a run down there. ^
