Just a heads up, the Hyatt Regency Club lounge will be closed from Dec 15th onward to the New Year (don't know when exactly) for renovations.
But the gingerbread display lasts until the 23rd! :)

This RC always closes around mid-December for two or three months in the dead of winter.

I believe the club closes from November to Early March (low season)
They give breakfast coupons out for diamond members and can be used for about $10 off breakfast or you could order continental breakfast.
I like this hotel. Somehow the front desk staff knows who I am and great me by name before I walk up to the counter. Pretty amazing since I only stay there 10-15 times per year. Very typical hyatt quality hotel. Not a 'grand' hotel but defenitely worthy of Hyatt name. Prices can be cheap from Fall - Summer. When the US dollar was strong, it priced often to about $60 per night. The location is perfect for those visiting Vancouver, right in the center of town. Many great restaurants and shops. Safe neighbourhood. ^
Staying at the property next week, is the RC open this time of the year... ?
Thanks !

Unless something has changed in the last couple of weeks it should be. This year, the RC was open even in early February ^
I like this hotel and it will be starting to enter high season now so rates will probably be a little higher. The hotel is in the heart of downtown and close to everything. Lots of good restaurants in the area. Enjoy.

Great hotel, but the rates are out of this world in high season.

16000 points for two days is the best use of Hyatt points in long time.
369 canadian per day at AAA rate for a weekend in July is too much for me.
