Canadian Airlines Plus - Lifetime Mileage Accruals

Always getting "Gee I'm sorry I can't tell you" answers from the old Platinum Desk, I have just written a letter to Canadian (or what's left of it) to ask if lifetime mileage accruals for the now-discontinued Plus programme will be transferred over to Air Canada.

Anyone care to speculate on what kind of an answer I'll get?
