American Express Membership Rewards - How To Get Centurion

Has anybody else got the offer to get The Centurion Card from a trust company in Europe? All you have to do is to become a client with the company and deposit a minimum of 15 000,- Euros. The Card is issued by Amex as usual but this company administrate the applications and somehow act as a "guarantee" to Amex.

By the way, they also offer Platinum Cards, as well as other credit cards.

They'll probably send you a Centurion card.....well it'll be a black piece of plastic with a 15 digit number on it with the word American Express

Doesn't mean any merchant will be able to get said piece of plastic to work, or that you'll get any of the benefits.....

Spend GBp5k a month on your platinum card, make sure you travel frequently and let amex take care of the arrangements, pay your bill on time and thats all you need do.

I have posted else where on here re titanium. Which is not a replacement for Centurian and anyone saying it is doesnt have a clue. It is being issued by Amex international private bank as a marketing gimmick. The launch is being fronted by UK Super Model Jodie Kidd and AMEX state they will only be releasing 5000 of them.

I say mickey mouse, they will want 100 basis points off you to manage the US$1 million in liquid assets and a US$1500 fee for the card. Great financial sense that isnt it.

I know all about this card as AMEX PB pitched to me recently to move a slice of my business from UBS and I nearly fell over laughing at them
