Sorry Redhead, you're wrong. It shows 5th FEb. They are there I found one 50p each way STN-GOA plus taxes of course. Ryanair unlike GO, always shows prices without tax.

Ryanair promotions are like a number 9 bus in London. There'll be another one along in a minute ...

The only problem is finding the fare you want at the time you want to travel. Even if it exists, it's difficult to find on the less than user-friendly website.

There have been other posts on Ryanair's 'bargains'.

My wife and I flew RyanAir in 1997 from STN to Dublin. They lost a watch from the dutyfree cart and the flight attendants told all the passengers we would not be allowed off the plane until we were all searched by gardai. The watch turned up before we landed. After a five hour layover in London and five pints I had a wicked thirst for water. I think I had my eyes closed and missed the drink service. Since the dutyfree cart was going down the aisle I just went to the back of the plane and downed a liter of bottled water.

The next year when we took RyanAir again I learned that all drinks were for charge. That was why the drink service goes through so quickly. I think I drank two pounds of water. Fortunately I didn't get arrested.

RyanAir is quirky and fun -- oh and so cheap to fly.
