Canadian Airlines Plus - AA elite status

I understand that AA offers to give equivalent staus to the Canadian+ status in their Advantage program. Does anyone have any information as AA customer service is unaware of this offer.

Call 1-800-486-7523 and you will get a recorded message instructing you where to send a copy of the Cdn+ elite account statement. AA will then review it and decide about offering you equivilent elite status in AAdvantage.

Does that include Executive Platinum ??

They don't say as this is a recorded message. I highly doubt it, since nobody has yet reported they've been comped ExPlat on AA. Sorry if I got your hopes up, GB. But, then again, one can only try and see what they come back with...

This offer probably only applies to CANADIAN residents, not all CPlus members. If you're based in the Bahamas, you're probably SOL.
