I have just posted a update in the Amex thread .Hot news, just off the phone with Amex customer service. They are cancelling the unliked and unwanted point fee for sending your points to a partisipating airline. The 2500 point charge is history, although the emergency rapid transfer fee is still in existance.
I was also told that a new deal is in the off with another airline, my feeling is that it well could be AA.
Anyone have other inside news?
