American Express Membership Rewards - 5000 MR for recommended a friend to Platinum Chargecard (UK)

Not sure if this is a long term offer or not. There was one a year or so ago for 10,000 MRs for same thing....

5000 MRs for recommendee and the new cardholder.....and you can recommmend as many people as you like! ^

Important T&C: 1. This offer is not valid if the person you recommend is an existing American Express Cardmember.
(And I interpret this as ANY amex card.)

So I guess, since I already have an Amex charge & Amex credit card, although not a Plat Charge card, I'd assume, much as I would like it, The Right Hon Lord Davidson would me unable to recommend me? :( ;)

Thanks for this one. I know a few Amexless people who might make use of the benefits. Only problem is, some of them already have Amex's useless corporate card.
