Asia - Malaysia visa requirements...
I'm planning a trip to Malaysia for 5 days and am doing research on visa requirements.
I'm getting conflicting answers from various websites and travel agents. Some say yes, and some say no. I'm holding a US Passport, do I need to apply (and approved) for a visa prior to reaching Malaysia?
I can't seem to find the official Malaysian government site either.

I went from Singapore to Malaysia last month and didn't need a visa to cross the border by car.

You can access Timatic, which is IATA's database of visa requirements for just about any country/national at: http://www.delta.com/travel/trav_serv/intl_travel/timatic/index.jsp.
This is what the airlines use to decide if you have the proper documentation to be transported.

I go there often, and will be there again in a couple of weeks. Nice place. No visa requirements for US nationals.
Enjoy your visit.
