I'm heading off to the Phillipines next Easter, and was wondering if anyone could offer any advice on which airline to go with.
I'd be flying out of London, and have the choice of Gulf Air or Korean, or potentially Qatar.
Any advice appreciated.
Cheers :)

admittedly, i've never gone to the phils from the uk, but that's an interesting selection of carriers. iirc, you should also be able to get there on most of these: ba, lh, kl, cx, sq, ci, br, jl, tg, mh, and emirates (forget the code). in the absence of a nonstop, i'd go with jl or br (evergreen deluxe) in y or cx in j.
edited to add, surely pr flies that route as well. pr is better than you'd expect and prices are very competitive, at least from lax and sfo.

I agree about PR, but it doesn't fly from London. I think the only European city to which it flies is Amsterdam.
SQ usually flies for a bit more money than the carriers OP listed, but my advice is to take them, particularly if flying in economy class. It's a long flight so the IFE is very useful for whittling the hours away, plus the level of service is very very good. A disadvantage of Middle Eastern airlines is the even split between their hubs and London / Manila. You won't really get a decent chance to settle down and doze off before having to disembark for your connecting flight.
By the same criteria, CX should be a nice option, but I haven't flown them long-haul yet. A good website to consult for price comparisons is www.pic-uk.com.

PR's AMS-MNL flight is a codeshare with KLM, flown by KLM, and to my knowledge the only nonstop Europe-MNL service. It also tends to be quite full, resulting in prices higher than those on the originally mentioned carriers.
KE has above-average pitch in coach, if that is a consideration.
