Frontier announces agreement with Winter Park and Copper Mountain (Intrawest Colorado).

Highlights:
- 2 for 1 lift tickets with a Frontier Airlines boarding pass receipt from Dec 1, 2004 - Feb 28, 2005. Driver's License must match name on boarding pass receipt. Good Mon-Fri all season long except, Dec. 27-31, 2004 and March 14-25, 2005.
- Rocky Mountain Super Pass holders who log 15 days, will get 5,000 miles.

Don't know if they're "partnerships," but it looks like United is trying to steal some of Frontier's thunder as the premier skiing airline:

If anyone really cares, I just spoke with Vail Resorts today (12/14) and the transfer program between Frontier & Peaks has officially been pulled.

Apparently, I got in right under the wire on 12/2.

One of the Customer Service Reps told me that you get lift tickets at Winter Park and Copper Mt using your miles. 2500 miles = 1 lift ticket. They have not publicized this yet, but you can call the Early Returns number and the will send you a lift ticket in about 7-10 days.

In my opinion the partnership with Vail resorts was superior to the new partnership. I just returned from a trip to Beaver Creek and saved a lot of money using my Peaks points for lift tickets and lessons for my kids.
