I got a 500 mile offer for $500 in purchases. Guess they know what i"m good for!

Not too impressive. United has a 2500 bonus mile offer for spending $250 at participating merchants (including Nordstrom) and American has a 10000 mile bonus offer for spending $1000 at participating merchants.

I'm guessing spend level and product. I spend over 25k/year on my Signature card and received nothing. Maybe lower spend levels and different products?
