Canadian Airlines Plus - Where's My Y Class Hot Breakfast?

Though it has been years since I have done so, this week I flew YOW-YYZ on CP during the morning rush. AC was completely full for 6:30, 7 and 8 - so that left no choice but to take that old CP Fokker jet. Codeshares allowed for seamless travel for the AC return (on a 320) that night.

As recently as January, AC was still serving a decent hot breakfast in Y class for the YOW-YYZ run. The last time I took CP, they were also doing so. But this week all we got was a nicely designed box with a stale raisin bun, some orange juice and a piece of mystery meat surrounded by two little pieces of cantaloupe.

Has the Y class hot breakfast been relegated to the dustbin of history?

The F-28's do not have any inflight ovens. I have never had any kind of hot or warm food on an F-28. My suggestion is to try to find a 737 or A-320 if you want a hot breakfast/meal and have to fly CP, hope this help.
