Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan - Preferred seating on AS for NW Elite?

Heya-

I'm a silver elite with Northwest Airlines, and have recently begun flying several AS segments SEA-LGB.

I noticed that Alaska's Mileage Plan program offers preferred seating for AS MVP members on their partner airlines... anyone happen to know if the opposite is true?

Can I receive priority seating-- possibly further front rows, exit rows, etc. as a NW Elite on AS metal?

Any other benefits of being a partner airline's elite member, even if its just silver, when it comes to AS?

I've always been very happy with Alaska, but am trying to weigh whether or not to keep using my NW number, or to sign up for AS Mileage Plan, and take my chances another way.

Thanks all!
Adam

You at least get to board early. They'll announce (usually) partner elite members before general boarding. Since they board the entire plane at once now, it's a good perk.

Can we select exit row on NW, AA, etc. operated flights? Do we get to board early as their elites can on AS flights?

NW only. AA we get the EQM's and that's it. CO, you do get to board early. Makes NW look like the best partner to me. Exit row seating, full EQM, access to airport lounges. After riding in Delta's 31" pitch for 4.5 hrs from ATL-PDX last week, I learned to appreciate the preferred seating!
