Can I use the US number for the Platinum Concierge when I am in the US rather than ringing back to the UK?

In the past you couldn't I tried it, but they refused to serve me. What I could do is call collect to the Netherlands.

You can call collect to your country of issuance, but just call
1 800 525 3355 and the concierge should help you. Though, honestly, the ones in the U.S. are not as helpful as the ones based outside the u.s. like Hong Kong!

if you are doing this because you do not want to pay for international call, you can call the toll free US Platinum number and tell them to transfer you to any country. I've done it many times.

It really varies from my experience. I am holding a Singapore issued card and whenever I am in the UK, the UK Platinum concierge would always tell me to call the UK Centurion line. However, when I am in the US and using the local concierge, they would always tell me to call Singapore.
