US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - Discounted F Class between DCA/BWI to LAS

I am mulling a DCA-LAS trip in January. The dates that I am looking at have F at zero or F2 or F3. Yes, these are the 757's with F8. :td:

Since there appears to be no chance to upgrade whatsoever, I am seriously considering buying a discounted F ticket. Right now the RT fare is $1435.

I would consider springing for an F ticket around $700/$800. Does it ever get this low for DCA-LAS?? Or am I bound to pay a higher fare if I decide to go? BWI is about $980, but I would do BWI only as a last resort.

Anybody have any good advice on the fares in this market?

If there is P (or I, or whatever they are calling "upgrade from a non-roach fare" bucket these days), how about 40k miles of premium award and a free upgrade?

You can an 'A' fare (upgradeable at booking) out of PHL for $698. Combine that with driving to PHL or a Roach Go Fare to/from PHL and that should meet your price target.
