I found some coupon codes on the Internet and was wondering if Alamo makes you present the actual coupon at the counter if you've already entered the code online and made the reservation with the discounted price?
Does anyone have any experience with this in the past? Thanks.
P.S. The $15 off coupon code that I found was D39B (rate code BY). This is just for a midsize or larger car.

If there is a physical coupon indicating in needs to be presented at counter YMMV some do, some don't.
A standard internet coupon shouldn't be a problem. If the discount is tied to an affiliation of some sort be prepared to present the required verification just in case.

I booked a car for LAS using a code for $20 off weekly rentals. They asked me for the physical coupon when I went to pick up the car.

I read about a coupon for a free day but didn't actually have one. In HNL they asked for it, I played dumb, the rep asked her supervisor, we got the rate. Mr l2b does not like to play games at the counter, so when we got to OGG I told him if there were any questions to just pay for the extra day, but there were no questions and we got the rate. Both reservations were booked exactly the same.
