MilesBuzz! - Hilton big bonus end date?

The Hilton bonus(up to 50,000 points) seems to be very confusing re ending date. Spoke to customer relations today and was told that ending date for qualifying is 90 days after activating promotion. Previously I had been told February 28th was last date. Can anyone clarify this? Thanks.

I have also wonder about this for quite some time. Since I will most likely stay at a Hilton Hotell for the Catman Do i New York I would be very happy if this promo is still there in late march.

I believe Feb 28 is the last day one can enroll in the bonus offering. Then you would have 90 days from the day you enroll to complete your 4 stays. For example: if you enrolled Feb. 1, you would have 90 days from that date to complete your stays. If you enrolled on Feb. 27, you have 90 days from that date to complete your stays.
When I enrolled mid January the CSR told me I had 90 days to complete my 4 stays to get the bonus.
Other members, am I correct?

I think you should send Adam a message and post his response. Do a search for his e-mail from his postings on this board. His answer should clinch it.

I just registered for the Conquest Bonus today and the HHSC said that the bonus runs 90 days from the day of signup - so for me, 90 days from today to get my 4 stays in. Promotion works like this:
1st Stay = 5,000 bonus pts.
2nd Stay adds 10,000 bonus pts.
3rd Stay adds 15,000 bonus pts.
4th Stay adds 20,000 bonus pts.
For a total of 50K

I too understood you had 90 days from the day you signed up for it.

I believe they didn't post the full terms was they wanted people to sign up and then do the four stays in the next 90 days, making me for example add a stay or two to make it happen if I was borderline. If you knew the full set of rules, you would just sign up when the four in the 90 day timeframe worked best for you, and they wouldn't get any extra stays out of you. I know that for myself, I have changed two non Hilton planned stays to them to get the four in.

Do you need to do anything special when you register? I'm staying at a Hampton Inn this week for my second stay, how do I insure it will count as one of my four stays?

I guess Hilton regards a 3 night consec. booking as "one" stay?

Lofly, did you call the Hhonors cust. svc. # and register for the promo? If so, your stays should automatically credit. If you haven't registered for the promo ( I can't tell from your post whether you have or not) call Hhonors and do so, hopefully they will retro your first stay.
Ozstamps, I believe you are correct, one stay.
I am (hopely) getting my 4 stays next week by checking in the first and third night in one town, and the 2nd and 4th night 18 miles further down the road. Some might think all that loading and unloading the car too much but for 50,000 points http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif I don't mind. I'm taking 5 clothes bags with 1 change of clothes in each. That way I can just pull out 1 bag a day and check in and check out.

My friend and I each have 1 big luggage (to max allowable weight) and handcarry.

I stayed in London this way:
night1: Ilsington
night2: St Ermis (some 15mins tube with CHANGE of Line)
night3: LHR hilton (just my friend, I fly in the morning): Again, CHANGE of Line

Hee... My friend said it is cool to try different and his is pleased with St Ermis, but. he alway said "Humm.. Who said he want to change hotel?" when moving... I was silent and sweating...

HK -- There is a very big difference between changing hotels with a car and doing so by mass transit. The latter, you have unfortunately found out the hard way!!

But, I told you that you would like the Islington. Also, as you no doubt know, no more HHonors point earnings at the St. Ermins.

At least you enjoyed it while it lasted!!

Now, be a nice friend, and take that friend of yours on the trip that you earned with those 50,000+ HHonors points!

According to Mr. Adam Burke, the deadline for completing the four stays is 90 days after sign-up:

Sorry for the confusion on this point! The February 28 deadline is for
registration only -- not for completion of the four stays. The 90 day period to
complete the four stays begins on the day that you register for the promotion.
I've asked the Service Center to issue a note to all reps to make sure we're
providing members with a consistent answer!

I stayed at a Hampton Inn for my 3rd stay of the promotion and received the 15K bonus points along with the Gold 25% bonus and the double dip points and miles. I had also used my Amex cards for the 4 stays so I will get triple points and double miles on my paper statement according to the CSR.

Sorry if I'm a latecomer to this whole topic. Would someone please be a sweetie and tell me what magic words I must tell the CSR at HH to sign up for this promo? Do I ask for the Conquest bonus? Or is there some special code? I'm Gold HH, if that matters. Danke!

The CSR you spoke to is wrong. The triple dip in your case, does not start until AFTER your 1st stay, although that stay does count as #1 for the Conquest promotion.

Also, remember, all of you, that although we now know definitively re the Conquest Promo, that does not alter the fact that the Double/Triple dip promo does REALLY END on 2/28/01!!!

Liebschein Westcoaster, it is all over the Hilton board if you were to look, but try BT2YM or CQy2 (I think?).

How long should it take after a stay, before the BT2YM Conquest bonus points post to your account?

I just had my SECOND stay (on 01/24/01), and as of today, there are STILL no 10,000 bonus miles posted. Anyone have any ideas?

My Bt2YM (whatever) points have posted as follows:

The first bonus of 5,000 points posted immediatley to a stay I made a month before (I signed up at the end of December, the points posted to a Thanksgiving stay).

I've had a couple of additional stays in January, and no bonus points have posted yet.

I found it strange the 5,000 went back a month, but am not complaining.

I found that only the 1st stay 5000 bonus points will be listed in the stay and other subsequent bonus will not be listed in the stay (but it is posted in total).

I already finished my BT2YM, any body know other bonuses? (I don't have Diner Club Card)
