How would I take the train from Guangzhou to Hong Kong? Please let me know all the necessary information that I need to know as this is the first time I will be flying into the new Guangzhou Airport.

What has this got to do with HK International Airport? I think you need to ask the question in either the Asia or Hong Kong forums.

ok you'll have to take a taxi to Guangzhou East station, and then the train from there.. pre-booking essential. a quick google for china travel service should help you there.
there are China Southern/Dragonair code share flights into HKG as well.
if you are returning to GZ, then make sure you have a multiple entry visa for china.
