Online Travel Booking and Bidding Agencies - rebate from pricelineHK

Just got an offer of a $200HKD rebate for a winning bid on priceline hk.
Not much-but unlike their us counterpart at least they are doing SOME marketing.
What has the track record been on actually gettinf money from PLHK

When they had their promotion a little while back I had no problem whatsoever with getting the rebate. And I don't recall anyone else having problems. Try doing a search to bring up the thread and you'll get more info.

I had no problems in the past when Priceline HK had a rebate offer on before. The credit appeared on my credit card a couple of weeks after my stay was completed. So shouldn't have any worries on this!

I on the other hand had to fight them for a measly $200hk for six months. Really annoying. I hope that's not indicative.

I nneded 2 nights in Seattle next week. Dec 7 and 9.

Being savvy I thought I could bid for 3 nights via SIN, pay one booking fee, and pocket the rebate.

Got sick of messing about and not having bids accepted at rates I knew 3* SEATAC was going for, and be warned their bid increment MUST be in $S5 jumps.

So I book the 2 nights on PL USA at $US34 a night - got them 1st bid.

Then a day or so later I get this:

By my math I was behind even with the rebate ... if of course I ever got that.
