I'm wondering. How many of you use a cordless mouse(RF,BlueTooth), and have you had any problems with a FA noticing that it was wireless.
I'd like to buy one and use it as my main travel mouse, but I don't want to be forced to put it away. Though I've done it before, I don't want to use the touchpad for the remainder of the flight.

I don't - I would like to hear if you find a Bluetooth mouse that's of a size you could actually use on a plane though. All of the models I've seen are of the 'inverted dinner plate' design in terms of size.

First off, I love my Logitech Cordless Optical Mouse for Notebooks.

It is certainly compact enough to use on an airplane. However, I just stick to my trackpoint when I'm in the air. Reasons are twofold: Saving space, and a desire not to blatantly flaunt the regs.

It's not clear from your post why the mouse needs to be wireless. I, too, prefer not to use the touchpad, so I use an Atek USB travel mouse that is small enough to use on a tray table alongside my laptop.

That's a good looking mouse. How's the overall feel?

It would be nice not to have that cord getting caught on things.

The overall feel is quite nice. Works just like a desktop optical mouse, though I've found that the range isn't as good as my wireless trackball. Though it is small, it is not uncomfortable as some really tiny mice can be. Battery life has been good to date.
No bluetooth - it uses a proprietary system. Fine by me - neither of my laptops have bluetooth anyway.
Edited to add: There is an on/off switch on the bottom of the mouse so you don't drain your batteries.

Thanks for that Scott; that's the first I've seen that's a reasonable size for travel! Have you tried this model?

Looks like that's the one I'll get.
