Help, FP experts!

We'll be on a Windstar cruise at the end of November. Our original agreement was that the cruise line included use of dayrooms at the PPT Sheraton, for pax to use between end of cruise at 10 am and flight to LAX at 11 pm. Now W-star has said we must pay $90 per person for the dayroom... :(

Options at this point are a bit limited, and we definitely prefer to have somewhere to hang out, relax, shower etc. before the overnight flight, rather than roaming like dispossessed persons. We're staying 2 nights pre-cruise at the IC PPT -- do they offer day rooms? Since I'm an Ambassador member, might they give us a break? Any other good options for dayrooms? We've already blown the budget on this trip, don't want to blow it any further! ;)

USD 90 is cheap for papeete, doubt you'll get anything under 200.

No, not really number 6 -- $90 for the room would be fine. But it's $90 per person, so $180. They're not doing us much of a favor... :(

Well, you've gone and we're about to go (Christmas Cruise - we like Rangiroa and hope to dive Tiputa Pass again...) but for future reference, I've used a day room near Faa'a airport (PPT) at the Tahiti Country Club in Punaauia. A rather fanciful name for a clean and serviceable hotel in the hill country above the airport. The listing on www.papeete.com is:

TAHITI COUNTRY CLUB
P.O. Box 13019 Punaauia- TAHITI
Telephone- (689) 42.60.40, Reservations: (689) 43.08.29 Fax- (689) 41.09.28 Contact: Mr. Patrick CHARLOT
Distance to airport: 2 km., Distance to boat harbour: 8 km.
Total Capacity: 40, Rooms: 40 Mountainside
Accept Visa, Mastercard, Diners Club, American Express and JCB
