I am looking to make a reservation for mid-January 2005. We're renting the car for 8 days and picking up at one airport and dropping off at another. In doing a search on Orbitz, Alamo came up as cheapest. And the rate was the same by booking direct through Alamo. I was looking for a discount code, but all exipred in 2004.
1. Any idea when the 2005 codes come out? I don't want to wait until the last minute to make the reservations.
2. Also, we were thinking of an SUV which is more expensive, simply because there are 4 adults, with a week's worth of luggage, making a 4 hour trip in the rental car. I'm assuming 4 adults could fit in the car, but what about trunk space? The recommendations on the website for this size, are 2 adults, 3 children and 3 lg + 2 small suitcases. Any suggestions?
