Hello fellow Ft's,

I am currently trying to look for some good websites where I can find/bid for hotels in South Africa. I know that Priceline does not have any offers in South Africa, even mailed them to be certain, and the answer is no.

I will be going to SA end of the year. I have seen some establishment in hotels.com and also checked out expedia.nl, there does not seem to have very good offers or locations..

any idea?

thank you.

:)

If bidding is no longer an option, this thread should be in TravelBuzz!

I think you could get a better response there

I would contact the moderator, jabez (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/member.php?u=6654) , and ask for this thread to be moved.

Good luck

Best deal for the price conscious is the Road Lodge/City Lodge group. If you're going off season, the Protea Hotels also reduce their rates. Outside the cities, there are many lodges.

I go down there quite often and find rates and conditions at Holiday Inns pretty good, particularly if you use their website and do the advance booking rates.
