Will be making a connection on BMI from EDI-MAN and to MAN-ORD. Will one hour be enough time for a connection?

Will one hour be enough time for a connection? zrs70 Jan 24, 03, 10:23 am I had a similar question a month ago. The answer given was "yes," but because my outbound was 2 hours late, I ended up being rerouted anyway. BHMMel Jan 24, 03, 12:05 pm Does the BMI flight from Edinburgh to Manchester usually run late? House Jan 24, 03, 12:09 pm The EDI-MAN flights are usually on time unless the weather is especially bad (and there is some padding of the schedule to make sure of this). You can check actual arrival times on the bmi website: http://www.flybmi.com/bmi/en-gb/sectionhome.aspx?p=317 An hour should be fine. All BD flights depart from the same building - just turn left from your arrival gate (follow the "T1 transfer" signs) and you have a short (2 minute) walk between domestic and international gate areas, with no extra security check (you will have cleared security at Edinburgh). You will get your boarding pass in EDI, and they will check your luggage through to ORD. Even if you were a bit late, I would be amazed if they didn't hold the ORD flight for you - you are unlikely to be the only connecting passengers on that flight. I once did it in 15 minutes; they held the pushback for a couple of minutes to allow four passengers to make the connection, and arranged for a car to take us and our checked bags from one aircraft door to the other.
