Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - Is it possible to upgrade BA using CX miles from LHR-DXB

I've tried searching the forum, but no luck, so here goes.

Is it possible to upgrade (using CX miles) a BA flight originiating at LHR and going to DXB (Dubai). I would like to upgrade a full fare ClubWorld Ticket to F, is this possible using CX miles?

Unfortunately you need an BA ELECTRONIC TICKET for the Asia miles upgrade.

But I did hear some people who got away with normal paper ticket on BA.
However the upgrade must be Return. No One-way Upgrades allowed.

That stinks as I am only flying BA one way. Are you certain that one-way is impossible?

Yes. One way is not possible.

Ticket must be a return, and issued as an e-ticket only.
