Asia - Everest Base camp trek - recommendations for tour package?

Myself and a few friends are really interested in a trek to the Everest base camp, but it is difficult to find a company that has an all-inclusive package for sale. All-inclusive meaning it includes airfare. Cost-effective is a key word as we are all college students and $3,000 is prob the most we would be able to spend on such a trip including airfare.

Thanks!

Hey, I just noticed this thread. I'm not sure if you are still checking here, but I've been to Everest Base Camp a few times in the last couple years. My advice is to forego anykind of organized tour. It is very easy to do by yourself and much, much, cheaper. You essentially will be staying at all of the same places that the tours do for much less. Feel free to reply if you have any specific questions and I'll try to answer them.

Please post the information at FT. Some others are interested, also. Thanks
