Does anyone know the terms and conditions for the stay 5 nights and get 1 free weekend night promo?
When should we expect to get the coupons or certs? I registered for this promo, but can't find the details anywhere.
Could someone help?
Thanks,

i'm pretty sure for stays from Aug-Nov. 30
I don't know if we'll get an email (which is what I assume)....and they're good from 1/1/05-3/31/05. I only know this because I read it somewhere last week...

I think the 5-1 promo is category 1-4, while the 10-2 promo is category 1-6.

yup - this is correct. Stay between Aug 1 and Nov 30th. Redeem Jan 1 to March 31 2005 in Cat 1-4 . . . but there are no coupons/certificates - I believe that we are supposed to call when you want to redeem and Starwood will check for the number of free days you are eligible for. Kinda doesn't make a lot of sense unless you keep track of these things yourself, but hopefully there will be some sort of notification. :)

Just give SPG a call and they can book the free weekend nights for you. As of now, they don't have a system in place to notify us how many free wknd nights we've accumulated. You have to explicitly tell them to book a reservation using the free weekend nights you've accumulated.

There's also very extensive discussion on both the current "stay 3" and "stay 5" promos on this thread:

I Called Starwood to confirm how many qualified nights I currently have. I was somewhat concerned that with my numerous stays both on points and revenue something would get lost.
They had it all, good job. ^
