Other Car Rental Programs/Partners (ie. Alamo, Enterprise, Sixt) - Is Alamo.com accepting discount codes again?

Has anybody been successful recently in applying discount codes (i.e. YQ or those from the Entertainment Book) at Alamo's website? I wonder why none of them appear to be working. I know Alamo is making changes, but their failure to accept discount codes is costing them a lot of my rental business.

I ran into the same problem, just today and thought I would stop by to post about it.

I tried to use the 2004 Entertainment Book coupon, for a free day...
I kept getting a message to the affect, invalid rate code or coupon not accepted.

I finally called and after about 30 minutes, spoke with someone who knew what the problem was.
They are no longer need the Rate Code, just the ID # and the Coupon Code.
So I entered the the needed info, leaving off the rate code and the coupon was accepted.
I asked the person I was speaking to, on the 1-800 line if they were planning on updating the website and she said they were working on it.

I used the code 306704 that I found on the Delta Skymiles site tonight to save me about $20 off a December Hawaii rental.

They seem to have turned off coupons / ID's again on the website - nothing changes the rate on any class ?.

I just made a reserv. using entertainment and it worked. I used all 3 codes and it came out lower than alamo's deals, so ...go figure

Those Entertainment coupons rock! Since my last post I have used the Ent. coupon for a two class upgrade from what I had booked for a total of about $5 more. It also includes 1 additional driver for free.
